What are you Hours of Operation?

The centre is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 am – 5:30 pm. We will be closed on Public Holidays.

What are the Group Sizes?

Infant Rooms have an average teacher to child ratio of 1:4. Preschool Rooms have an average teacher to child ratio of 1:8.

Do you offer Free ECE hours?

Our centre offers the 20 hours ECE subsidy which is provided by the Ministry of Education to all 3 and 4 year old tamariki.

Am I entitled to the Work and Income subsidy?

You may be eligible for a Work and Income (WINZ) subsidy. The subsidy is subject to an income qualification. Contact Work and Income for further information and forms.

What do I need to bring?

Children should be dressed in old or play clothes and a spare change should be packed every day. In winter, rain attire and gumboots are essential, and in summer, sunhats are to be provided for outdoor play and we recommend you apply sun block to your child before the start of every day. Nappies are provided.

Under Twos

  • Breast Milk or Formula – enough for the day
  • Complete spare set of clothes and extra singlets
  • Items the baby is attached to i.e. dummy, teddy bear, etc.
  • Sunhat / warm waterproof outside clothes in winter

Over Twos

  • Complete change of clothes (more when toilet learning)
  • Special items for sleep i.e. cuddly, doll etc.
  • Sunhat / warm waterproof outside clothes in winter

Do I need to pack a lunch?

Your child can enjoy our nutritionally designed, well-balanced meals of seasonal, natural, healthy ingredients, prepared fresh daily by our onsite chef. We offer a variety of a 4-week rotating menu which is updated each season. This is all part of your fees.

Do I need to pack nappies?

We provide sufficient nappies for your child to use throughout the day as part of your fees. If you prefer to use reusable nappies, you may wish to bring these.

Do you have an ERO report?

Education Review Office (ERO) reports external reviews of our setting. As part of our compliance and licensing criteria, all early childhood services within Aotearoa/NZ are reviewed by an external government body called the Education Review Office (ERO).
