Qualified ECE Teachers

Due to our expanding licence, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated ECE teacher (kaiako) to work alongside and guide our tamariki.

About You

You will be either a Qualified ECE teacher or currently in training to become an ECE Teacher. We are a busy childcare centre so you will have demonstrated the ability to be responsive to children's needs, a diverse thinker, and passionate about tamariki. You will need a sense of humour, be organised, flexible and build strong relationships with families, children, and kaiako.

You will need to have an understanding of our philosophy around respectful care and practice and be open to continuously learning and growing. A growth mindset where facilitating positive outcomes for tamariki is also seen as a central driver. You should also have experience in working with and supporting this age group.

As a valued kaiako your knowledge, passion and team contribution will be recognised, respected, and rewarded. We support our teachers to use their strengths, be they practical or theoretical on a daily basis to fill their ‘buckets’.
