Enrolment Structure

The minimum booking is 2 days per week. However, customisable options are available. Please speak with the Centre Manager on how we can work together with you and your whānau.

On confirmed enrolment, a non-refundable administration fee of $50 is payable.

Once a child is enrolled and confirmation of a start date is given, all booked sessions will be charged, regardless of whether a child attends or not.

Two weeks written notice is required if your child is leaving the Centre. Fees are payable during this notice period.

All childcare fees include food and nappies.

Payments

All fees are payable in advance by automatic payment. The first payment of 2 weeks must be paid in full before starting. This is in addition to the administration fee. Any prepaid fees will be refunded at the time your child leaves the centre, less any fees outstanding at that time.

Parents will be invoiced on a fortnightly basis.

Fees that are two weeks in arrears will incur a 10% weekly charge for all outstanding fees. Failure to keep fees up to date may result in a child’s enrolment being forfeited and the debt being passed on to a debt collection agency, for which the parent will be responsible for any associated costs incurred.

Receipts are issued at the end of each tax year or as requested.

Work & Income

Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) Childcare subsidies may be available for families on low incomes. Please talk to staff regarding this. This subsidy is only part payment for fees and parents must meet the balance. Full fees will be charged until the Centre receives the WINZ subsidy. More details about the WINZ Childcare Subsidy can be found here.

Family Boost

FamilyBoost is a new childcare payment that will be made to eligible households, to help with the rising costs of early childhood education (ECE).  Households can be reimbursed up to 25% of their ECE fees incurred from the IRD. This is up to a maximum amount of $75 per week. Payments to families will be made three monthly. So, for the $75 per week payment cap, the three-monthly equivalent amount of $975 would be paid. Families will need to submit their invoices directly to IRD. To find out more, please visit the IRD Website here

Late Fees

We are aware that in one-off instances, situations such as being late to pick up your child/children may occur. Where children are not collected by the previously stipulated hours of closure, a late fee at a rate of $1 per minute will apply. Late fees and other optional charges may be paid in cash or by internet banking.

Public Holidays, Sick Days, Absences

Fees are to be paid for 52 weeks per year. Fees are required regardless of statutory holidays, illness, family vacation times, or teacher only days (two annually). This means that automatic payment facilities do not have to be re-set.

Fees are charged when your child is absent due to sickness or other reasons.

Fees will be charged for statutory holidays.

No fees will be charged if the Centre is closed over the Christmas period.
