Our Beliefs

Our passionate team of teachers and carers are dedicated to working in partnership with you as parents. People and partnerships are vitally important as the conscious connections we make will work towards growing respectful relationships for all.

The relationship we build with you and your child is an important part of our work.

Through the development of secure responsive and respectful relationships your child will be confident in their sense of belonging and in turn have the confidence and resilience to interact with the world around them. That means that your child is then ready to engage in meaningful play, which supports the disposition for lifelong learning.

“We believe in the value of growing in nature. We see nature as one of our teachers.”

Our vision is guided by the values of curiosity, creativity, respectful practice and kindness, grounded in nature. Children are active participants in all the routines, rituals and regular events throughout the day, we see them as key drivers in their own curriculum. Children are actively encouraged to explore, discover and share their dreams.

Respect/Manaakitanga underpins all that we do, how we interact with each other, resources and the environment. We are aware that the connections within our local community plays an important place in developing sense of belonging and awareness of the world around us.
